The Ovalle Norte solar park, with a total installed capacity of 10.64 MWp, is another SOLEK Group's project in the Maule region, south of the Chilean capital Santiago. The completed plant was connected to the National Grid in 2021. It was built under the PMGD regime, a distributed energy source whose territorial diversification ensures Chile's energy security while helping to meet the Chilean government's energy targets to provide 60% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2035.
