Leyda 2024

Chile

The Leyda photovoltaic park, with a total installed capacity of 95.2 MWp, is located in the San Antonio region, 90 km from the capital Santiago de Chile. The plant was commissioned in December 2024. It covers an area of 120 hectares and is the largest project of the SOLEK Group to date. Leyda will generate approximately 185 gigawatt hours of green energy annually, equivalent to the consumption of about 23,000 Chilean households, and will avoid the generation of 71,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. All the electricity generated from Leyda is purchased by the Italian energy group Enel through a so-called PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).
