The Cuz Cuz solar power plant, with a total installed capacity of 3 megawatts, is the first solar power plant ever built by a purely Czech company, not only in Chile, but in the whole of South America. It is located about 300 kilometres north of the Chilean capital Santiago, near the town of Illapel. It was completed and connected in 2017 and supplies electricity to nearly 2,800 households.
