The Cuz Cuz solar power plant, with a total installed capacity of 3.07 MWp, is the very first solar power plant not only in Chile but in all of South America to be built by a purely Czech company. It is located approximately 300 kilometers north of the Chilean capital, Santiago, near the town of Illapel. Completed and connected to the grid in 2017, it supplies electricity to nearly 2,800 households.
